Turbo N/A project

I am about to start my turbo na project, i plan on using a water to air intercooler, so that the pipe from the turbo comes straight up then forward into the intercooler, and then out of there forward towards that windshield, and then a 90 into the TB. This seems like it'll work has it ever been tried? does the turbo need oil and water lines?

i am trying to do the same thing with an intercooler I boght in ebay.








It's dimmention won't let it fit on top of the engine but ill see what i can do.

The turbo will need an oil supply and drainback line and you dont have to run water lines, but the turbo will last longer if you do. A water to air intercooler is more trouble than it is worth.

I think it's the same thing. A custome frunt mount is the same thing, you have to rout the piping to the frunt and back. Not as much air tubing with the water intercooler but you still have to rout the radiator hoses and mout the radiator, pump and reservoir.

I like the idea of running the much smaller water lines for the water to air than the air tubes i'd have to run for a frontmount, also much cheaper the water to air route
