I own an '88 GXL RX-7 I bought a non turbo hoping that I could put a turbo kit on it. But to my luck I can't find one. Does anyone know how to put a turbo on a GXL and how much it would cost or should I just swap the motors and TRY to find a Turbo Hood?
Please search for this topic as it's been covered at least once a week. However, to lay it down on you...you'd be better off selling the GXL and buying a Turbo (known as a TII). Plan on swapping a new tranny, axle, differential, halfshafts, ECU, Engine, Hood, radiator, etc...and it may not run right. There are some turbo kits out there, a few members have fabb'd up some kits, but I'd rather have a purpose built car rather than a piece-mealed system...plus the non-turbo tranny is not strong enough for the power of the turbo system.

I don't mean to be rude, but try reading about 10 topics down. There is a two page discussion called "NA turbo adapter revealed!!" that has been around since last week. It has quite a bit of info on this topic.
In short, yes it is possible. But no, you can't do it. At least not yet. That is, if you have to ask, you don't have the knowledge necessary to pull it off.
Excuse my arrogance, but I'm tired of seeing this same question over and over.
