*cough accelerated warmup system. I have a Jspec intake and yup there's no air bypass on it. the AWS system also goes through the BAC too... Either start it in gear or tap the gas when it revs up and it will fall back down.

I think you have a big vacuum leak. I recommend you build a Turbo engine vacuum tester to apply air pressure in the intake then take some soapy water spray around areas that could leak. Either you will find air bubbles or you will hear the leak and be able to fix it immediately. Once you can rule out the vacuum leak possibility then search for another problem.

Plug your BOV completely and see if that fixes the problem. the MAF is pretty touchy on the air it meters and calculates. Any miss amount of air will give you all sorts of problems...

Thanks for the correction. Had a brain lock and was confusing that with the hot start stuff.

so my fuel pump relay and resistor showed up in the mail today and ill probably start the wiring today. i found this site with steps on how to do it. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...icial%26sa%3DG

my question is i thought the relay was underneath the dash?
for all you guys that stated it is the AFM that is the problem, well this guy states that rewiring does indeed solve air flow meter cut off.
(The prinicpal of the idea is moving the fuel pump resistor relay near
the back and splicing a relay carrying a REAL voltage into the equation. This
method keeps all the factory safety features (air flow meter cutoff, check
connector, etc.) It also allows the resistor to function properly. When the
relay for the resistor is open, all the current goes through the resistor and is
dropped to ~9 volts. When the relay closes, it makes a path with no resistance
through that part of the circuit, and we all know that electricity takes the path
of least resistance.)
im hoping this solves my problem, from the readin ive done they sure do make it sound like thats my problem.
Im open for advice. and about the vacuum leak, i sprayed brake cleaner around the hole motor while cranking and it would run so ther was a deff. vacuum leak, i later took some washers out of my injectors, after i did so it would not run off brake cleaner hence fixing that small vacuum leak.
its a deff cutoff problem, the rails are getting fuel pressure and it sounds as though fuel is getting cutoff right after crank. putting the relay in sounds like its the piece to the puzzle which ill soon find out. opinions please.
