Turbo model vs NA / front end...?

I have a 87 Turbo II that's hit pretty hard in the front nose... It basicly needs a whole front end from both strut towers foward.

My question is... If I pick up a NA chassis is everything the same..? I believe I read somewhere the fenders are different..? Is this true..? What else is different...? Is the chassis the same or is the Turbo model bigger / heavier duty..?? How about the radiator, AC components, lights, bumpers, rad support, struts, etc, etc, etc...

Thanks in advance for any info.

^^ Thanks. The engine is ok, besides the fact it's been sitting awhile, it's still sitting what appears to be straight. I'll know for sure once I start measuring and pulling everything back to spec.

Before the accident the car was completly stock / unmolested so I'd like to get it back in running order w/out adding any upgrades to the confusion... so a stock turbo hood will be necessary. Southside... are you saying the springs and shocks are different too...? My plan is to pick up a rolling n/a chassis I found locally to steal all the parts off of it.

So the fenders, bumpers, lights will all bolt up and fit, but what's the actual difference w/the fenders btwn both models..? Were the turbo fenders wider for wheel clearence or something..??

NA's and Turbo's both carried the same tire size from the factory (205/55/16) on the 16 wheel package that came on 86-88 GXL's, 86-91 Turbo TII, GTUs, and Sports.

Depending on the model the springs may or may not be different. I'd suggest just Tokico blue's anyhow since the struts on whatever car and totally shot.

The fenders, hood, bumpers, and everything are the same. They should bolt right over. The trim may or may not match depending on the years S4 (86-88) or S5 (89-91).

Alright thanks Jager. I guess the info I read somewhere in the past was wrong in regards to the turbo fenders being different then the n/a's... which in turn gave me the false heads up that there might be small dis-similaraties. I do plan on staying within the same series to keep the trim the same. Is it the actual trim that's not the same style or the fact the S4's were painted black and the S5's matched the color of the car...? The whole front end needs new paint anyways and I'm pretty sure I'm picking up an already found S4 roller, but asking just in case. Thanks again.
