turbo insulation kit

anyone have this installed? Design engineering offers one for turbos, and I was curious as to what effect it has if any on our turbos.

Not recommended...any welds will rust more quickly.&nbsp Any pipes will corrode faster.&nbsp Get a downpipe and full exhaust - the exhaust will stay cooler. If you're that worried, you can get those pieces ceramic coated...

well i did a s5 turbo swap, and my stock heat shield was so badly rusted/broke into pieces. I didn't put it back in when I put in the s5 turbo. So I have no shield down there now, and I thought this insulation would be a good idea. It also comes with a wrap for the dp. I have a full Racing Beat exhaust setup.
