turbo ii trans questions

sorry for the basic question, but the search engine is down.

aprox. how much torque can the turbo ii trans take with "moderate" beating?
also, what about the fb trans?

what will the first thing be that goes?

400lb-ft or about 500hp
Case flexes and this kills gears.
Extreme circumstances (drag racing) will shatter the input shaft.

Fourth is straight through.
You gotta go some to break that. Maybe bend a fork, or shear off a shaft.

so can you do something to the transmission to beef it up to prevent thbe housing from twisting?

You're way out of my league.
If you are planning on ~400 ft-lbs, you need to be looking at a whole different driveline.

Uh, in the ratio sense, yes, it's 1:1.
But it's not physically...
