I have a 13b engine in my 1986 rx7 if i wanted to turbo II swap out of 91-90-89...rx7 will it line up? and another question, is 12A quicker or slower than the 13B?

 

if want to do a full 13bt swap you will need a TII tranny, tII drivesaft, diff, and the whole harness. Yes the 13bt will fit and stuff. 12A is from an FB / SA22 why downgrade?

You'll also have to deal with the OMP. S4 (86-88) and S5 (89-92) use different OMPs.

The 12a makes something like 105 flywheel horsepower versus 146 for the S4 NA. So the 12a is definitely a downgrade. Though the transmission bolts up.

 

IF you really have to ask this. You're in for a downfall. You're really better off just buying a TII.

Furthermore on the top right portion of this page is a search feature. This topic has been covered several times. You'll see that there's tons of odds & ends that need to be swapped, hence my earlier suggestion. Read up on it, and then make your decision if you want to swap or not.
