Ok... hello. My friend swapped an n/a motor with a turbo motor and it wont start... when he turns the key to the on position, there is a quiet clicking coming from all the emissions switches and ****... its gertting fuel, spark and of course air... im thinking it might be getting flooded... so we did the de-flooding process and still nothing.. it turns over and everything... i dont know what the hell... i got a n/a so i dont know anything about the II motors... the whole intake manifold is different... there is no vaccuum leaks from what i can see, could i be a wiring issue???? please help..
and also i should have said that the clicking i was talking about goes away after about 7 seconds, and its very quiet, and also there is a loud clicking when he turns the key off that lasts about 4 seconds, kinda sounds like an old fuel pump clicking when theres no gas in it... but the two clicking noises are totally different.
and its not the crank angle sensor or any other timing issue or anything that has to do with the spark..

im not sure about the clicking??
did you manually turn your fuel pump on?
i had to manually turn mine on when i did my na-tII swap.
to prime your fuel pump:
Us a jumping wire and bridge the ternimals of the yellow two pin connector.
Connector is located on the passenger side pretty much directly infront of your strut tower.
The connector is apart of the wire harness and is alone, nothing should be plugged into it.
Turn your ingition switch on for about 10 and listen for a priming sounds, you can get a friend to check at the back of your car (by your gas tank) for the noise.
Remove the jumper wire if you here the priming and after your key is out of the ignition.
Try and start it.
There is a weird way to start TII's compared to N/A's.
I dont no what year yours is but mine has a fuel pump switch behind the shifter and there is a goofy way of starting it
I had thought i had tons of problems because mine wouldnt start, then my friend with a TII came over, hopped in and fired it right up.
Best of luck!

So ? it is getting flooded?or not sure? Fuel injectors firing?clogged stuck closed? I had a fuel injector problem when I tried starting mine first time. Clogged and then leaking. Also is the Air flow meter good?Hooked up?Big vaccum leak? Tps adjusted right? Or good? Mine was smashed and didnt know it till I couldnt adjust the idle for **** and couldnt go over 2500rpms idea? If your unsure about the fuel then try spraing a couple sqirts of gas into the intake just pull a vac hose and try to start.
