Turbo II rebuild question
Will anyone who knows what they are talking about be so kind to explain to me exactly what I will need, be as detailed as possible as to what I will need for a complete Turbo II engine rebuild, and possibly a quality place (not ebay) where I can find these things in a package(s) or a kit(s)?

Well im in the middle of my first rotary build I bought some of the good stuff to do mine. I got a good set of Micrometers and a good Dial ind. with a magnetic base. Good slide caliper and some Telscoping gagues to go along with them. Then what I think you should do is tear down and find out what needs replaced. You might need a number of things rotor, Housing etc.... And always good to have small simple things too picks **** like that. I think most of my time so far has been spent cleaning and finding different things to clean with so far oven cleaner is my friend. and my parts washer. And dont make the mistake I did of trying to use a 1/2 in wrnech to take off the flywheel nut lol broke about 3 of those that night. Pick you up a good 3/4 breaker bar. And a metric Tap and dye set might have to hunt down a 10mm x 1 tap and dye though kinda hard to find. And check out how much you want to do in the future to decide what kind of seals you want to run things to that nature. As far as I went was
www.Rotaryaviation.com for my seals I have seen some 500hp 7's running these same seals so there good and there not going to chew something up like 3mm seals will and the kit is fairly cheap hope I helped man.

you might want to get one of the re-build videos available. http://www.atkinsrotary.com/store/customer/home.php

Definately get the atkins rebuild video before you tear open the motor. Also read the article on rotaryresurrection on pulling the engine. As for the flywheel, I recommend the racing beat "super wrench." It is found here: http://www.racingbeat.com/resultset....rtNumber=22000 You also need the flywheel stopper bar, or something to stop the flywheel. Both are in the flywheel section. Might as well get the dowel puller from them too, its only 3 or 4 bucks.
Once you open it up, you can see what you need to replace. Its a good idea to go ahead and replace all the seals while its out. There are 3 main options for seals: Mazda, Atkins, and Rotary Aviation. They are all good quality seals, but I personally trust Mazda on the seals, so thats what I'm using in my rebuild. If you use the RA seals, don't use their springs as they have been known to flatten under boost.
Oh, here's a little secret on getting mazda parts for cheaper: If you plan on racing your car, you can get discounted parts through www.mazdamotorsports.com If you do plan on racing it, read up on how to enroll.
