Either driveshaft will not work.

You will need a N/A front and a turbo rear driveshaft. You can have a driveshaft shop make one for you out of your two or you can purchase a new aftermarket one from mazdatrix that has the combination you want.

like farberio said, the tii rear end needs the tii driveshaft, and the tii transmission. If you want to run a n/a transmission with a TII rear end you need to either make your own driveshaft by swaping out the front "spindle" or buying a custom driveshaft

Its either the spindle on the driveshaft or differential, just swap it out, it should work.
But first do a search on how to do it.
It shouldnt be hard.

i havent had much drive time on this setup but if you very carefullly measure the amount of tourqe required to turn the pinion flange, you can unbolt a n/a flange and bolt it to a turbo diff, but it does not work the other way around due to diff spline heights. but you have to make sure to tighten the pinion nut back the the exact tourqe you measured becuase if you exceed it you will crush the crush tube and will then have to tear down the whole diff to replace it, as i stated above i havnt had much drive time on this setup but i have had no oil leaks form the oil seal and everything moves very smoothly.

The stock driveshaft has nonremovable U-joints.

For all the hassle of changed diff flanges ETC.,.you can Get a Conversion Shaft on the sec Gen Parts for Sale section..I Saw TWO Of them For sale, about 100 bucks...oh,I remember one guy Changing the Diff Input shaft(flange)..it didn't fair out too wel..he cracked the damn diff and was out More Money than when he started..See where I am going here?..Think about it..Why Screw With Parts that are NOT broke?..they may end up GETTING broke.

On my rear the guy who owned it before me swapped in a T2 rear end and used the n/a driveshaft. All he did was drill additional holes on the T2 rear end and now I can use and T2 driveshaft or n/a.
