see me.... i widdled my hood out of a single block of pine wood, then i double sided taped 30 hood scoops to it, then i spray painted it black...yeah...my hood is the ****. plus i gained about 200rwhp.

go with the t2 hood...if its what you like.

 

would you really. Because I have an alluminum hood that I am tryign to get rid of....sord of off white color. Me personally, I like the way the tii hood looks. however, if your going turbo later...why not just use the tii hood until your swap is complete. but...thats just me.

The claim that it brings the Temp down, can anyone else validate this? This is a great reason to buy the hood.

It won't affect engine temps if thats what you mean. It might drop engine bay temps a bit but doubtfully enough to do anything.


TII hood on an N/a is what you call poseur(sp?)

 

It helps ventilate the engine bay and allow the hot air to rise out when the car is stationary.

Engine temperature is regulated by the thermostat, and should stay at normal levels unless there is something wrong with the system.

Turbo II hood dropped my temperature gauge from half to above a quarter for normal driving. It is definitely a plus for engine bay cooling.

There is something way wrong with your cooling system. The vent doesn't even feed the radiator so it couldn't possibly lower temps of the coolant system.
