Turbo harness q's

I cant seem to find the plug for the alternator or the O2 sensor on my turbo engine wiring harness. Ive cut into a section of the harness that goes into the firewall and into the ECU but I cant for the life of me find the alternator wire or the O2 sensor wire? Is the turbo harness two seperate harnesses?

The series four Turbo EM harness does not include an alternator plug, but the series four non turbo does have the alternator plug.

The 02 wire is there in both Turbo and non turbo EM harnesses.

Putting a Turbo EM harness in a non turbo car is not straight forward. I'd never go that way. IF that is what your doing.

Yes that is what I am doing. So I suppose ill need to run a seperate wire for the alt to get this done. Everything else seems to be plugged up fine but am I missing anything else for my swap?

No, not really. If you can remember there are two fairly large plugs on the EM harness that do not connect to the ECU. They connect to the front harness. Sorry, but the pinouts for those two connectors on the Turbo EM harness do NOT match the pinouts on the non turbo EM harness and therefore do not match the plugs each connects to on the Front harness.

So what you do is rearrange the wires on those two plugs on the Turbo EM harness to match the non turbo Front harness.

That's as far as I care to go with this. I've written about it too many times before and I'm swearing off ever writing about it again. You'd have been better off using the non turbo harness on the turbo engine. Fewer changes to be made.

Try an advanced Search using as inputs: FEM-01 AND FEM-02 and the name HAILERS. It's out there somewhere.
