Turbo-to-DP studs

I am looking for those three studs that connect the turbo to the down pipe. I bought a JDM engine and they were torched. I posted in the "Wanted Parts" section, but had NO luck. Anyone know where I can get these at all?

APR performance fasteners.

they make all kinda studs and fasteners fit for the racing world. they have application specific fasteners for high heat exhaust all the way to low heat intake studs for your throttle body. they come in a wide variety of coatings, alloys, and strengths.

good luck and happy boosting!

You don't need "racing" studs...

Any engineering supply shop should have suitable studs. I've done this for two turbos.

true ya dont need em. but its nice to be able to REMOVE a nut from an exhaust stud with out breaking it or buggering up the threads. from what i understand they are only a dime or two more expensive and they wont rust or corrode. makeing repairs and stuff easier.

sorry, dont mean to argue. btw hows the weather downunda NZ? any favorites in the V8 SUPERCARS series? been watchin it as much as i can on speed.

I didn't have any problems getting the nuts off them, unlike the original ones...

Roof down every day this week.

Gotta support the Kiwi V8 boys, maybe this will be Greg Murphy's year... Make sure you watch the NZ round in April, I'll be there!

hahahah i am having the same problem... I was wondering if it would be acceptable to attempt to locate the studs at home depot racing. If not, I have seen them on mazdatrix (but to me 13 bux for a stud that otherwise cost 2 bux seems outrageous!) and if I have no luck elsewhere, they will be getting my business.

Edit: you beat me to it! OMW to the parts store! lol

call them. Not everything they sell is shown, i think. Looking at this: http://www.mazdatrix.com/e7.htm it would appear that the 93-95 turbo to manifold stud is the best fit.... 13-4560-N391 P/N.... (correct me if I am wrong, because I know I probably am... ).

Keep in mind, those things are single-use only.
They tend to sieze on the fasteners and almost impossible to remove afterwards.

Not to mention they are EXPENSIVE...
Go to any BMW dealer and ask for their exhaust nuts 10mm x 1.50.
They are copper coated and cost like $1 each...
