Turbo Conversion Small Engine Trouble
Hey Guys,
I switched out my non-turbo for a turbo engine. When i go to turn it on, it takes a couple seconds to turn over, like it has no fuel. Then it runs for about two seconds before it shuts itself off. Now i haven't replaced the boost sensor for the pressure sensor in the turbo model, but i did buy the fuel cut defensor from racing beat. I need a little bit of help...any ideas as to why this won't idle? Does the pressure sensor turn off a stock turbo model if it is disconnected or it reads the boost too high? (the boost senosr in the n/a is 4-5 volts, the pressure sensor in the turbo is 2.3-2.7 volts)
Thanks

You might want to check the voltage to your fuel pump.
Did you swap in a Turbo pump? I heard the NA's would be maxing out on a TII but you shoudl still be able to idle.
If it takes a while to start up it might not be pumping well and once it fills the lines up with gas it will run until it drains the lines empty again.
