Turbo choices?

I recently purchased a t2 fully dressed block to do a turbo swap in my convertible. Was wanting to up the turbo, fuel system, exhaust, and most likely street port it. The big hesitation I have is, what turbos will work on the t2 that will fit into the Vert? Obviously a few things are clear here: I have to do more research on what all the numbers mean when it comes to turbo, and I will need a different manifold. I keep hearing "send the stock turbo off to bnr or call turblown" but I was just seeing what all choice I really have. My end goals are 350-400hp so that is to be kept in mind.

If you have the vert underbrace still on the car( behind the front subframe) this can interfere with some full turbo system upgrades. All of our turbo systems will clear it.

I would use our EFR IWG 7670 kit, there is a group buy going for our new cast units too. Check my signature.

My issue I guess mainly relies behind budget. Were I able to drop $3k on those or a Greddy kit or whatever, id do it in a heartbeat. But currently that's not the situation.

If you don't have 3k for upgrades, then forget about it and try to run a stock setup for the time being.

What's your budget?

Because besides the turbo, there's the intercooler, custom downpipe, wastegate/plumbing, standalone, injectors, fuel pump, wiring supplies, wideband, and misc.

Aaron that was exactly my point. The reccomended turbo that turblown is an awesome turbo, but after dropping that much on the turbo I still have to buy everything that you noted. And that's where the issue lies. I've heard that if I send my stock one to Billy, it can reuse most of the stock parts for now other than obviously the fuel and computer systems.

Just got with Billy at BNR and ill be honest, everyone is right. Its a great price for a great product, and that's most likely the route I plan to take. The eBay turbos are just that from what I see, and follow the standard rules of "Reliable, Fast, Cheap. Pick Two" thanks for everyone's input!
