Turbo 2 swap question

I was thinking of putting a s5 j-spec turbo motor in an 88 convertible. I was wondering if I would have to change the whole car wiring harness or can I get by with just changing the ecu and engine harness along with the other needed parts of a turbo 2?

well since nobody is replying i think ill give it a shot, you should be able to get by with just swapping out the ecu and harness, the other stuff should plug into the ecu, maybe with some rewiring, also in case you dont know you will also need the T2 tranny and rear end for this swap, along with several other motor components. good luck

not sure about mixing S5 ECU+engine harness with S4 in car harness if not direct swap, u have 2 choices...

-rewire connectors which does not fit

or

-find yourself S4 TII ECU and engine harness and use it with S5 j-spec....S4 TII engine harness should fit fine in your in car harness without major modifications.....
