Tuning My S-AFC II

I am getting an S-AFC II very soon, and I was wondering if with a little reading and help from you guys I could do a basic tune on it myself. I have a 90 GTU N/A so detonation is not a big problem right. I am very smart and learn quickly so any help on this is appreciated. I also live in Santa Cruz, CA so if I have to where would be a cheap place to get it tuned?

i would leave everything at zero till you can have a wideband or able to put it on a dyno. that way you can optimize your tuning. but i know that as a basic setting the NAs run rich most of the time. but i would wait to get it tuned is my best advice .

I'm just saying maybe you should ask in there. I'm sure people who have done this themselves troll that area.

i'd get a wideband if i were u and tune it with that...that is what me and my friend did. we just hooked up the wideband and went for a rip/cruise until optimum result were found

you're probably not going to be able to tune it super well to optimize power w/o a wideband + a dyno, but in the meantime you can tune the low throttle map for great gas mileage. i tune about -30% at 2.5-3k, which is great for highway driving, mine went up from 19 to 25mpg. other people have gone as far as -40%, but i don't know how 'advisable' any of this is.
