Tuning help plz?
Hi i just bought my first car (89 GTU N/A) and obviously im a rotary noob and all that, but what can i do to tune/upgrade/improve my cars performance without spending too much money and/or what can i do to my car to improve performace without adding parts (if possible?). I plan on taking out my engine and doing whatever necessarry that you guys suggest. And also any tips or advice for the noob? Thanks alot =D

read the 2nd gen. FAQ............
congrats. on getting yourself a seven, got any pics. What kind of mileage does it have? Auto. or Manual trans.? Check out the FAQ, and do some searches, or just read this forum over, this stuff is covered daily. No need to start another thread about it.

Fulll 60K tuneup. Plugs, wires, TPS, filters, fluids, check all sensors, have the injectors cleaned, etc.
Once the car is running right:
-exhaust
-intake
-S-AFC and dyno (to tune the fuel)
Personally that's as far as I would go with an NA unless I was doing something radical (peripheral, bridge, etc.)

sounds like a nice car! its ok to post a new thread, it just helps to search first to avoid re-posting previously asked questions. I wasn't meaning to discourage you from posting, heh.
