Talking Tuning Advice

Hey guys howsit going?

Ever since i bought my 1991 S5 turbo ive been getting 136 miles to 13.2 gallons, all thats done to it is a chipped ECU, 850cc secondarys, 500hp fuel pump and apod filter and exhaust. oh and a slightly bigger turbo. Now its been running 11psi all day every day since i bought it. Now is that amount of fuel consumption normal because it smells like a gas station when i start it up. This car really moves, it hasnt failed on me, doesnt go through any oil or water even after 5000 miles which is unbelieveable. And apparently has a chipped apex seal according to a rotary workshop. ( i think they want my $$$$$$)

Now you know its history a bit better i need advice on what i can do to stop it over fueling because trust me it is. Ive tried chucking standard injectors back into the secondarys and a standard jspec computer i have and it ran lean, mainyl because i cant turn down the boost. The waste gate has been modified so you cant run lower than 11psi which is crazy. Ive talked to a few tuning shops, most them say i cant use a APEXI SAFC=II, or Greedy E-manager. it wont work because it only does airflow.
Then Rotary shops say i should spend 2.5K on a Mictrotech, which i believe is bulshit, there must be another way to solve my problem. I would get a APEXI Power FC but New Zealand doesnt seem to have anyone who can do it for my car.
I wont mention names but most rotary workshops are not trust worthy in New Zealand.

Any help would be most appreciated guys.

Cheers!!!!

The Microtech might be more expensive in New Lealand then it is around here. Around here it's about $1000.

Either way, you will need a standalone of some kind with that setup.

yep, unfortunately you went a little overboard with mods and a standalone will be well worth it in the long run since you can double your highway fuel mileage. either learn how to install and tune or sack it up and pay someone for a standalone and a highway tune.

No experience with the Power FC but my preference is always a full standalone. Ditch all the stock stuff (including the old and crusty wiring harness) and start properly from scratch.
