tune up info
OK tomorrow I plan to go to work and get some NGK plugs and NGK wires for my new 86' FC n/t my questions is:
when I replace them which are trailing which are leading?
is there a better ngk plug to use then the basic stock one?
these do not (can not) be gapped right?
anything recomended to do when changing plugs and wires?
NEXT:
is the stock air box and snorkle functional or should I go to a K&N cone?
where is the fuel filter located?
what engine oil should I use (brand and weight) btw I have 79,xxx miles
and of course any other info u can offer would be nice

1. Spark plugs:
Top = trailing
Bottom (or lower) = Leading
2. Yes the air box is functional, don't go to a K&N cone without getting or building a cold air box.
3. Under the brake master on the frame rail
4. Recommended oil weights can be found in the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of this, the 2nd gen RX-7 technical section. They can also be found under the hood of your car. The majority of members here use Castrol GTX in either a 10W30 or 20W50 depending on what tempature you are expected to start and drive your car in until the next oil change. But only you can make the actual decision on what oil you feel is best for you: bobtheoilguy.com

I was thinking about putting a filter through the bottom of the stock intake box after making a larger whole in it where the tube connects to it.....
that way it looks stock but...
it's not.

I read on the oil after making this post. Iwill prolly just use 10w30
as for the air box, I will just use a stock K&N drop in then if it is functional
as for the plugs there is no front and back it is top and bottom so u have 1 lead and 1 trail per coil?
also what is the fluid bottle that is on the firewall on the passenger side

You have a leading and trailing plug per rotor. The 13B has two rotors.
