Throttle Cable Adjustment

I messed around with the screw on the tb to adjust the idle some and ever since my car hasnt been feeling smooth when I give it gas. If I go WOT from a stop its fine or if I give it just a little gas its fine as well but anything half throttle makes my car sputter and bog down. Does this sound like the TPS went bad all of the sudden or does the cable just need to be adjusted? Any ideas on which way I should adjust it if it does need it?

readjust or at least check your tps. you may have tightened the cable to much and the tps is reading a little off. if thats the case, just loosen it a little bit, and check the tps again.

Isn't the fast idle screw that shouldn't ever be touched?

I think he was talking about the Air Adjust Screw...

For clarification, which were you talking about (thread starter)?

The screw on the top of the TB (Air Adjust Screw), or on the firewall side (Cam Adjusting Screw)?
