so i will be doing a tune up this week and was just wondering what everyone one else is running.. havent had my fc long so iv never really done a tune up to it and want to make sure i do things right.

i think im going with

ngk spark plugs from corksport... but im not sure what spark plug wires i should get and if it will make a diffrence because my car is NA...

im looking to get more power out of this tune up then MPG as my fc is my weekend ride.

don't expect any power gains from a simple tune up, people who do listen to too much advertising from auto parts stores.. unless your **** has like never been tuned up in its life. go with NGK plugs and wires, a napa or OEM fuel filter, a nippon or OEM oil filter, castrol GTX 10w30 engine oil and do a water treatment on the engine to decarbon it.

I agree with the above. Just keep the car up to date on the maintance as far as tranny & diff fluid (redline is good), coolant flush and thermostat replacement with royal purple additive, maybe a new o2 sensor, steering flush.

Maybe order a KNN drop in filter or make a cold airbox?

If it is power you want, you should start to look into an after market header with catback and possibly a fuel controller....

Search it with titles only

You basically take a jug of distilled water, make a "t" with two vacuum hoses connected to the lower intake manifold nipples that are next to each other facing the firewall and front of the car. Then hook up the vacuum line into the distilled water jug and rev the engine up to 2-3k. It will suck up the water and "steam clean" your internals, or so thats the theory. It usually helps clean out carbon deposits. It's doesn't produce the harmful exhaust gasses other "treatments" do either.
