tune up

Since I bought my vert, 1 year and 4 months ago, I have put about 28 thousand miles on it, i wish i had another car to drive, becasue the thing is mint, and i hate wearing it out. But i have noticed decreased performance, and a little bit of rougher running then it used to. I want to perform a tune up, and I dont know where to start on this thing. I am a fairly adept mechanic when it comes to chevy V-8s, but this thing is wayyyyy different, and i dont want to screw anything up. I changed the plus about ten thousand miles ago, and other then chagning the oil every two thousand miles, i havent done anything to the engine. Any advice would be appreciated.

change the plugs again. also wires, fuel filter, air filter, coolant, thermostat (real mazda one). also check the timming and idle speed. all this is the same as any engine.

the only other different stuff would be to check the TPS setting.

you should probably change the tranny and rear diff fluid too.

flushing the cooling system wouldn't be a bad idea either....
