tubro upgrades on rx7store.net

i would of searched but keep getting proxy error. has anyone gotten the turbo upgrades from rx7store.net i was looking at the s5 stage 2 upgrade and it seemed like what i want.
any advantages/disadvantages to it?
would it be cheaper to peice it together and build it myself? (basic handtools dont have a machine shop in my garage)

I would go to BNR directly I think it is a bit cheaper. Plus then you can ask Brian whatever you want as far as questions about the turbo.

we both have the stage three for the s4 and man does it kick ***! I would suggest going the biggest because after you get the power you are just going to want more and more go stage 4 since you have an s5, this way you can boost above 15psi and your car will quickly become a beast! Of course you will need all the supporting mods as well. But yeah bryan at bnr is a great guy that is cool (great tech support) even after the sell.

I would talk to Brian personaly to get answers to all your questions then I would buy it from the RX7 Store, its the same price and Jason is a sponsor of this board and a great guy.

would the stage 4 have lots of lag for over 15psi. when i go standalone i would like to be close to 20psi, bridge port and all that other good stuff.

Jeez if your going bridgeport then you need a nice pig of a turbo If I where going bridge and standalone I would get a full turbo upgrade! Something moderate like a 62-1 or maybe a tad bigger.

If you're going BP, you better look at some compressor maps and also see what others are using. A Hybrid wont be enough.. Im sure you wouldnt be disappointed with a large streetport and a BNR stage IV though. A 350-375HP RX-7 is enough of a beast.. What are your goals as far as driveability and useable power? You're not going to BP your N/A and try to run a huge turbo are you? What are you going to do for an EMS?

only way to really run that bp right is to use stand alone. You may want to look into either like impreza said and get a street port and bnr stage IV or maybe go half bridge with a 62-1. I believe a nother forum member has that and he runs 12's with about 1000 lbs of stereo stuff so you could run 11's without all that stuff. Either way I see a standalone in your future

large street port would be better for a 62-1. Half bridge will choke up unless you run a 1.15 or larger backside. Their are better choices out their for the halfbridge. PM BDC and Brian will set you straight on selection. But yes ems is needed and don't get the haltech e6x. To many problems right from the factory

Brian told me he had a guy running low 12s on pump gas and street tires on the Stage2. I have raced cars that were consitent mid 12s and have come out on top so I figure I am right in that zone with the Stage3 maybe with the street port and a little fine tuning I can break a high 11. I dunno maybe a shot of N2O would not hurt either LOL.

Dr. Jones I personally do not support the RXstore anymore. I seen they support Jimlabs products and he is one of the biggest rotary bashers on here. I cannot support that. For those of you fimiliar with Firearms and the NRA its kinda like when the NRA boycotted S&W. Of course S&W supports guns but they also signed on with the Clinton administration in exchange for protection. What they signed could have eventullay hurt the gun industry and gun owners. So the NRA boycotted em. Jason is a nice guy though and maybe if he dropped the Jimlamb pproducts I would be comfortable supporting the store. Or maybe even if he just let the Lamb know he is costing him business. Please no flames on this as it is just my feeling on the subject and nothibng more.

You can say that again...

Maybe you should call Jason and ask him if I sell products through his store. He'll tell you the same thing I have each time you've posted this bullshit... no.

no 62-1 is to small for anything but your daily street port.

I know several guys running a half bridge with a 62-1 with no problems. It will depend on how big your hotside is.
