Trys to start immediatly when key is off.

I just did an engine swap. Its an S5 TII. Everything is hooked up. When i try to connect the battery terminals the starter come on and the engine tries to start.

I tried diconnecting the ignition completely and it still does this. I don't know if i have a starter relay stuck on or just what

Also what are the electrical units right on from of the car do? There is like 5 of them lined up right in a row and connect to the front harness

switching the positive and neg is a good way to blow out all the electronics in the car.

Neg terminal is nearest to the headlight.

Positive terminal is one nearest the fuse box and shock tower.

You can not hook them up backwards and not mess something up. At best you will blow fuses, at worst you will need to replace most of the electronics in the car.

Is your starter solenoid wire somehow in contact with the positive cable on the starter?

+1. If that wire is touching 12v, it would want to start immediately. Or get under the dash and check to see if the starter wire is in contact with 12v somewhere. The ground wire has a yellow stripe on it, BTW.

I dont think so. I disconnected the solenoid wire and when i connect the battery up I can hear other things going on,like fuel going through the lines and some other clicking noise.

Unplug the starter wire, not the 12v lead, from the starter. If it still wants to do it, then something internally is goofy with the starter. Otherwise, there is an issue somewhere in the line.

Positive wire hooked up to the wrong post on the solenoid? 1 of them has a big wire running into the starter. Make sure the wire running down from the battery is NOT on that post...should be on the other one

Well it still tries to start. I have no power to any electronics no power to ignition heater clock etc. Except for hazards and headlights. However when I turn on my headlights the wires start smoking/melting.

i think you have the same problem i had yesterday. lol. the ground wire coming down does not go on either post of the starter. but it grounds off on the tranny on one of the bolts of the starter.
and make sure your power wire is on the right post, aswell and the small wire leading out of the solenoid.
my only problem now is that i'm not getting any fuel so...

I have rewire my fuel pump now. its an s4 to an s5. All the wires look the same except a fat blue one with a dark green ring.

Good luck on your fuel issues
