Posting a picture would help.

Removing the TMIC is pretty straight forward. Hose clamps, bolts, yada yada yada. The tow hook bracket needs to be removed as it gets in the way. The bracket is bent funky and holds the right side of the TMIC as well. The bottom of it bolts to the housings.

There is only one seal that could be replaced and is at the end of the throttle body. My car isn't running so I would ask for other people's suggestions if you should replace it.

i just removed the 2 bolts that hold the inlet pipe to the throttle body (jam nut technique), and removed the inlet pipe to get to the lower bolts which hold the bracket to the engine block. No need to remove the throttle body.

did you try... um... oh i dont know. unbolting it? i mean seriously. when you are looking at something to do to your car, think of these steps.

Is it something thats relatively easy to get to or is it in the bowls of the engine bay?

how many vaccumm hoses connect to it?

how many things are bolted to it?

is it bolted in?

if i remove everything connected to it, i should probably lable the hoses with colord nail polish or something. or just unbolt it with the hoses plugged in.

is something that is in my way able to be unbolted?

its not hard. we wont hold your hand.

Aside from the methods mentioned about, the only other way to get to the lower bolts on the TB is to pull the UIM. While not a difficult job, there's a lot of vacuum lines you chance breaking or pulling off and not noticing. So go slow, and take your time. You'll want to have an extra UIM to LIM gasket as you'll most likely destroy the old one pulling the two apart.

I usually just remove the TMIC, unscrew the coolant line from the BAC, remove the AWS, loosen the hose clamp on the charge pipe, remove the five bolts that go through the UIM (paying attention to any grounds that may be attached to them), loosen the stabilizer nut attached to the TB. At this point, you may not need to go any further. Simply lifting up gently on the TB/UIM assembly may give you the room you need to remove your hardware. If not, continue to remove the three vac lines facing the alternator, and the coolant line that goes to the TB. If you end up ruining the UIM to LIM gasket, you'll obviously need to replace it. You CAN disconnect throttle cable lines if it helps.

Remember, go slow, and pay attention.

There is a topic about relocating PS. I did it so I could install intercooling piping. Search for it. I did have to remove the AC to do this. Try this https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/how-power-steering-relocation-705539/
