I need a pair of trunk lid struts for an 88 vert. Where can I buy a pair? Or can they be re-pressurised?

Punch that in search.I just did that yesterday(or so) and saw some good info.I was trying to get an answer for aftermarket rear hatch struts,but I saw trunk struts too.

So I joined the forum over 10 years ago back when I was a young... extra motivated Navy Midshipman in college. I was fighting what turned out to be blown coolant seals thanks to the help from Aaron/Mark and others... maybe even yourself. EDIT: maybe not... this was a good couple years befor you joined.

Anyway, I was so proud of my ROTCness that I made it part of my screen name. The abbreviation for Midshipman is MIDN.

I'm now active... and no longer a Midshipman. I'm a full fledged Lieutenant... thus my name on the other forum is ElTeeFauci (LT). Now I'm just another bitter naval officer

 

I have a set from an 87 GXL hatch. Not sure if they're swappable IMO your vert.

Give someone help on finding struts nobody bats an eye. Offer someone GXL struts and everyone looses their minds! Lol
