is it true......?

undefined i have been told that if i remove the "polution/air" pump from my bone stock 13B circa 86 that i will gain anywere from 10-20 horses.... is this true and if so wut set backs (if any) go along with such an engine "mod"?




i need 20B or 2 12A engines to build a R 24A for my track car.... also need wide body and farrari style head lights. any and all help would b nice thnx ya'll

yeah,if you remove the whole system pump,emissions,hoses,etc... and you block off plate it off course, set backs well depending on your state if you can pass emissions ,also it will make your engine much cleaner and lighter
cant answer the other questions they are way out of my league

remove air pump, buy block off plates from Mazdatrix, reroute a couple vacums, and wallah....

I seriously doubt any large power gain from removing your air pump, ive taken mine off and not noticed any gain at all.

If you believe that removing the air pump will gain you even 2 HP (well alone 20) then a 26A would be way way way out of your abilities to even consider looking at well alone building.

Plus there is little on common with a 26A and a 20B... Other than they are both rotary engines

do anyof yall know where i could get a write up of how to remove the air pump. i got one with my exhaust system, and have yet to put it on.
