Trouble Replacing Clutch Slave Cylinder

So I bought a 1990 GTU project (my first project car ever) and the first problem I have to address is the clutch pedal sticking to the floor. I ordered a new clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, and a new clutch hose for good measure. I was able to replace the master cylinder relatively easily, and the car is able to shift gears no problem so I thought I would just bleed the system and see if it fixed my pedal. But when I went to open the bleeder valve on the slave, I found the edges have been rounded off almost and its all rusty. It doesn't want to twist at all. I have to replace the slave after all. But even the bolts holding in the slave cylinder are rusted and they don't want to twist either. I sprayed tri-flow to try and help but it still doesn't wanna go. It's also in a really awkward spot and hard to get to. Has anyone dealt with this problem of the bolts not wanting to budge? Any ideas?

It looks like you already have the right idea with the oil. I'd spray it again with oil every hour or so and let it soak for a bit before trying again. Normally I'd advise using a torch, but then you'll probably cook the clutch line. Also, there are fuel lines nearby so I don't advise that in this case.

Then you'll want to use a socket or closed end wrench, six-sided. A 12 sided wrench / socket is more likely to slip. Don't use an open ended wrench, whatever you do.

Lastly, a longer ratchet / wrench will let you get more leverage.

Give CRC Freeze Off a try. Just had a lower strut bolt frozen to the knuckle, not the RX7, impact wouldn't move the bolt, tried PB blaster for a couple of days,
then heat, no go. Was going to remove the entire suspension to work on the problem while on the bench, but sprayed the Freeze Off liberally a few times and
with the impact it started moving. Actually couldn't believe that the product worked.

that is a good suggestion I will have to get some of that freezeoff myself. I saw it the other day but was like "hmm does that really work", guess it does ha.

It took a few days of soaking but I was finally able to get one of them off. But I accidentally broke the bolt in the process, and it feels like the other one is going to break too. Part of the thread is still in there, but now that I need to get new bolts, I was wondering if you knew the length of the bolts to get?

I believe it's M8x1.25x16.

I recall them being just slightly between two standard lengths, which meant I had to buy the larger one and cut down the end. They are available from Mazda though and probably not super expensive, so doing it again I'd buy OEM.
