hi im probably in the wrong forum but i need to ask here first, i have a 84 gslse and i have everything turbo II ex the engine block, and my throttle is getting stuck but wont pass over 4k and if i hit the gas again it goes down, it wont doit everytime but it scare the s^)t sometime out of me. can somebody help me. thanks

 

get a new TB or take yours off and soak it in carb cleaner

 

I had the same problem it was my Cruise Control. I disconnected it and the problem is gone.

 

Not sure about your setup, but double check your oil metering pump rod to make sure its not hanging up on something. Unless you have an s5 TB or are running premix.

Otherwise, like the other guy said, check for wires and crap in the way.

Or, it could be carbon buildup in the TB. Guess you will have totake the TB off to check that.

 

well i clean the hole intake before i put it on my car and i had it about 4 month on it, i have a S4 tb and yes i still have the omp hook up, and i dont think is my cruise because i dont have it hook up but i know my cable is a little bend because is cracked is that could make it happened? is not totally bend it just a little, ill check the OMP rod now thanks
