Exclamation trany or clutch?

ok so i woke up 4 am to get ready for work this mornin..warmed up my 7 and all..as i was about to leave, pulled the e brake down and stepped on the clutch and 1st gear wouldnt go in.i tried to put it on reverse but it just grinded.warmed it up more for 5 more minutes thingkin it was just a coldstart.still couldnt shift in any gear.
so i had to use my dads car to go to work..when i came back home to check what was wrong with my car, stepped on the clutch started the car and it felt kinda wierd..the clutch dndt have any resistance.the pedal just fell on the ground..and everytime i step on it,it makes this crumbling noise..could it be just the clutch or the tranny??
1 more thing and i noticed that the coolant warning light turned on from the idiot cluster.popped the hood and checked! all the coolant was gone?? new coolant seals??

does anyone know the cause of this problem?

first things first, check your clutch fluid. and go from there.

as for the coolant, that sounds like a different problem all together, and i dont have an answer for that.

Check trans fluid and if thats not the case...you just might need new seals, and thats going to be a B...=/

does it sound like a coffee grinder? i had the same problem a while back. but check you slave cylinder it's probly leaking, but your pilot bearing is probly welded to the input shaft.
