Transmition oil

What sort of oil should I use for my trani? valvoliene non synthetic, or redline synthetic. i am not sure how many miles i have on it either.

80W-90 GL-4 gear oil is what you should use if you're going with dino oil, for synthetic Redline MT-90 is wonderful stuff.

I would recommend a high quality synthetic like Neo or Redline.

in Portland you would want to use a 85W90 or a 90W in a FC tranny.

I recommend Redline MT90 for non turbos and superlightweight gear oil for R type (Turbo trannys), but you could also use Redline NS.

I do not ever recommend using valvoline gear lube, synthectic or not.

I had 2nd gear issues and redline synthetic fixed it. Excellent stuff. Clean that magnet.

kinda off topic but how many quarts is in the turbo 2 tranny? how many bottles does it take?
