Transmissions

I have a 90 GTU that I just shelled the transmission in. I was wondering if there is anything out on the market that I can get to upgrade my new transmission. I don't want to put another transmission in my car and blow it again.

Thanks,
Ian

For a TII tranny conversion, you will need a TII flywheel and clutch, TO bearing, and slave cylinder (not sure about master) and a TII driveshaft I believe.

And what makes Pineapple Racing's "super duty N/A" trannsmissions so good. Better gears? Tougher synchros? Are all the ratios the same? Is it build to order? You have to elaborate a little more if you're going to convince someone it's worth the expense. And, uh, what is the expense?

I'm not sure I've seen any of this on their site, which is why I ask.

I just got done ordering a transmission from pineapple racing. Rob was cool as hell. With air shipping the total was under $700. Hopefully I won't do the same thing with this transmission like I did with the last one.

What exactly is involved in his "beefy N/A" transmissions? Can you get custom gear ratios?

i am about to rebuild mine, but for $700, this might be the way to go.

Forr $700, what do you get. Just a stock rebuild? feel free to leave as much detail as you want
