Both the S4 GXL and S4 TII have clutch type LSD 3rd diffs. But, they are not compatible to each other.

Likewise, the S4 GXL diff is designed for NA and is a direct swapping candidate into any other NA with NA tranny. But, unless you swap out the half shafts and buy a custom drive axle, not so for a S4 or S5 TII tranny into a NA.

yes you can!
1) change the flywheel to TII light steel with a rear automatic counterweight on it.
2)get a TII starter.
3)get a custom made driveshaft using a TII yoke with a N/A flange that bolts onto the N/A diff. flange.

It could either be an FD3S 13B-REW or a JC3S 13B-RE?
If it is an FD3S 13B-REW, the transmissions are different.
More accurately, the bell housings and input shafts are different, and you really can't swap them to make everything work.
