transmission noises

I've got a strange noise coming from my trans theat's making me alittle nervous.

It sounds like a creaking sort of noise. It's coming from the bell housing area or right behind it. It only happens when I'm at full boost at the top end of my RPM(max power).

And on a side note, how much HP can the stock trans, driveshaft and rear end handle before I need to upgrade?

Not that I can tell.

I just went for a spin. It's more of a whine then a creak.

If your using the n/a tranny still, your going to break it sooner or later. They can't hold up to year after year of n/a abuse, let alone the torque from boost.

If you haven't already done it, use synthetic gear oil in the tranny.

The most fragile part if the NA tranny is the input gear (where the input shaft drives the countershaft).
If you stay with the stock clutch, open differential, & stock tire sizes it should hold up OK.

The whole car is T2 through and through. The only thing that is N/A is the short block. T2 ecu, intake, exhaust, trans, rear end, body, interior trim......

About the syntheic, what should I be buying?
