Transmission to engine question~

Alright, I bolted up my tranny to my engine after getting the splines and everything aligned. While in the process though... I heard a popping sort of noise every so often when tightening the bolts. I thought I may have messed up the needle bearing, so I decided to take it apart. Before taking it apart I saw that the exposed part of the clutch fork had pushed in the slave cylinder push rod, all of the way. I couldn't even get it to budge back. What could have happend here? Something installed wrong?

Also, does anyone know of any way to pull out the needle bearing?... other than using the "eccentric shaft bearing puller"??

YOu should have removed the slave cylinder BEFORE you reinstalled the transmission. And a Dremel works great on pilot bearings.
