So I need to replace my transmission on my 91 fc vert, and I know u can swap the t2 trans into it with the driveshaft but do u also need the diff or is it just the t2 trans and drive shaft? Also what other years are compatible?

you also need a TII Flywheel, clutch and Starter,TII Clutch Slave.
Then you need to get power to the rear end,so a TII to N/A Diff driveshaft
..OR complete the TII setup with an actual TII driveshaft going to a TII DIFF and Axles.

No. You need a driveshaft with the turbo front yoke and the n/a rear flange. Either the one Mazdatrix sells or a custom one made by someone else. It's listed at the bottom of the driveshaft list as "Non-Turbo CAR with Turbo Transmission Swapped in, still using the non-turbo differential" on this page: Driveshafts

Or you can make you own like in this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...shaft-1081644/

make sure you get the Transmission Cross Member for that Transmission.,
You can't use an 86-88 cross member on a 89-91 trans...and vice versa.
