I am in the middle of my swap. All of the drivetrain is already done and the motor is in. Problem is, my car (and harness) are s5 N/a and the trans is s4 TII. The reverse and 5th gear switch is different, and so are the wires to connect it.
My harness:
1 black and yellow
2 blue (looks blue, maybe black)
1 red and green

Switch:
2 red
2 green

Anyone know which should go to which?

backup light 12v- the plug that is in the middle, on the side with the clip. this is on the car's harness. i will have to get back to you on the trans side and the 5th gear wires.

 

neutral switch is on pass side of trans, backup is on drivers side
