tranny swap balancing?

I know lots of ppl have done tranny swaps (auto - 5spd.)

I went to an rx-7 specialist and they said, they dont recommend it coz the "balance" will be off if u do the str8 forward swap....ud have to take the "covers" off and re-balance the motor.........can anyone eplain what they mean?

ive tried the search and ive never seen or heard of a swap needing to be balanced.......

something they made up.
The automatic flexplate bolts onto a counterweight. The flexplate is not internally balanced.
The stock flywheels replace the stock counterweight completely, and are internally balanced. As long as you use the correct series of stock flywheel, engine balnace will be the same.
If you get an aftermarket flywheel, you can bolt it on to the existing counterwight.

What specialist told you this? I also live in BC.
