All the same for the most part, should bolt right up.
The turbo tranny is the only one that differs greatly and its still a pretty straight forward swap.

Id be wary of the Vert tranny, unless its low milage or known to be in good shape. The Vert was the heaviest FC, and the non turbo trannies arent known to be the longest lasting, even in base models......

AFIK the vert tranny is just a normal NA tranny, so it should bolt right up. The only potential problem is with the tranny crossmember. The S4's and S5's have different ones. You need to use the one that matches the transmission, not the car, they bolt up to the car in the same way, but they bolt to the transmission differently.

like what he said. i've done 91 vert tranny to 90 gtu, s5 tranny to s4 car. they are all the same except for the tranny crossmember. keep all the parts if you use s4 and s5 trannies.
