tranny swap?

tranny swap?
besides all the parts(tranny, bell housing, clutch, fly wheel, pedals, tranny mounts, and possibly drive shaft), how hard is it to do a swap from an auto. to a manue? if i missed any parts let me know.

pilot bearing and throw out bearing (a.k.a. release bearing) and a nice set of instructions on how to make the new bracket you'll need to get the crossmember of the manual tranny to match up to the car. (follow the link below. Click on "tech" and then "transmission swap")

Also, if you get a manual tranny that does already have a rear crossmember bracket attached, pay attention to the holes where it is supposed to go because some mount flat to the bottom of the tranny, others mount with the bolt holes on a 45 degree angle to the tranny. I had pics because I ran into this problem, but I accidently deleted them.

Depends on how fast you need to do it. If you have an unlimited amount of time, its not hard at all, you just have to follow through what you're doing and work on it a little bit at at a time.

Here are the pics of the tranny brackets I'm talking about. Notice the one bracket is at a 45. I don't have pics of a flat one, but you get the idea. If the tranny you get already has this bracket on it, then don't worry about the holes, you just need to make a bracket to get the cross member to mate up to the bottom of the car.
