I here the deal, I was driving on the interstate crusing in 5th. There was a big hill and I didn't feel like having the turbo pull me all the way up it so I shifted to 4th. at the top of the hill to go back down I went to put it back in 5th, no go. All the way though town no 5th. At my house with the car off it still want go into 5th. I had to leave for the store pissed off about 5th so i "pursaded" it to go in and it did. Now its fine? What could of caused this?

Also I have a 5 sp tranny out of a 90 GTU will that match up with my TII if I have to pull it?

My dad said it sounds like you lost the shifting spacer. You could take it to a tranny place and have them check it out.
