tranny question

i have an 86 n/a base and i need to find a tranny for it will an 88 n/a tranny work?

yes...all manual trannys are intercangable for S4 NA's....IE 1986 to 88.

All FC non-turbo transmissions are interchangable, S4 and S5. I have a ribbed bellhousing S5 trans on my '86 right now.
