Tranny Mount Help

Hey guys,

im trying to replace my tranny mount. I went to kragen to get a tranny mount and those guys gave me a engine mount instead. They are convinced that the tranny mount and the engine mount use the same mount.

Where can i find a local store with a tranny mount? i looked at some older posts and other stores like autozone do the same thing: they give engine mounts as tranny mounts.

Also, does anyone know the torque specs of the bolts holding the crossmember and the tranny mount? I want to be sure that they are in place with the specific torque spec. The Haynes repair manual is very vague and they dont talk about torque specs.

I looked on ebay for a tranny mount(atkins rotary was selling them) but it doesnt ship until the end of the month. I really want to get this done soon. Please help.

Ha dthe same problem with NAPA years ago, then ordered them from:
Mazdatrix.com

Just snug them down, but if you use a torque wrench:
Crossmember to frame 23/34 ft-lb
Center nut 41/59 ft-lb
Mount rubber on trans 12/17 ft-lb

Try http://www.mazdatrix.com/g3.htm

It sounds silly to send off to them to get parts, BUT, this morn I bought a couple of engine rotor oil seals from the local dealer (only tried one dealer), and the price there is almost three times as much as Mazdatrix even if you throw in shipping. It reminded me why I buy parts from Mazdatrix instead of local.
