CA Tranny ID help

I am going to be looking at tranny for a 91fc sometime next week. How would I be able to tell that it will be for a 91 N/A engine and not a TII engine. Thanks.

the TII tranny has a removable bellhousing, non turbos do not(bellhousing is part of the transmission).

the S5 has a V shaped mounting point for the transmission mount. S4 has a flat transmission mount pad on the bottom.

Sweet. I will try to find pics of this so I can get a better idea of what I am looking for. By any chance is there a part number engraved on the tranny that I can look for as well?

Also, you can use an S4 transmission as long as you get a crossmember and Y-bracket with it - they bolt up exactly the same and are usually cheaper..

The crossmember is the one that kinda looks like a bone and is under the tranny on the front?

you would also need the Y bracket that mounts between the tranny and crossmember
