tranny gone....?

tranny gone....?

i was driving last night, got on it in first no problems, went to get into 2nd and it was hard as **** but it went in, then i started feeling vibrations in the clutch pedal so i let off. now every time i engage the clutch i feel that fibration and hear it. this morning i looked and there was a pretty good size of gear oil on the ground. any one have any ideas??

Maybe just one of the seals on the tranny blew. I am guessing that if it is real low on gear oil thats gonna make life tough on the tranny.

IMO

you feel a vibrating sensation and a grinding noise when you step on the clutch pedal.

you have a bad throw out bearing, which is unrelated to possibly worn out 2nd gear synchro, and/or very low transmission fluid from a tranny leak.

ive never had a trany leak befour. i just changed the throw out breaking and pilot bearing when i did my clutch. ya it could be bad...i just need to drop the trany and see i guess.
