I was told that it is possable to put an FD fifth gear into an FC and 4.33 gears and the back, and achieve the same cruising RPM as the stock tranny and stock 4.10 gears... But at the same time get quicker acceeration..

Dont see why not... Dont know the numbers for the FD 5th gear though...
