tramlining heavily under brakes

Ok, my t2 is always a little twitchy over rough roads, but I've noticed lately that under very heavy braking the thing wanders all over the road and needs firm control of the wheel... anyone else experience this, or know what would cause it? It's recently had new shocks, wheel alignment and balance, and there were no other problems picked up by any of the people working on it.

On uneven roads with lower profile tires, my car would do that as well. Have you recently upgraded wheels/tires?

Does the car pull to one side or the other? This can be caused by a imballance somewhere, such as a seized caliper or warped rotor. Were all of your struts replaced? Make sure you chack out your suspension components. Are your tires and wheels in good shape (not dented or cupped or anything)?

nope, only had the car a few months though. I don't think it's anything that's just started, only something I've just payed attention to
Fair enough if it's normal, this did seem a little extreme though...

does the pedal pulsate?

make sure the wheels are torqued down to the right amount.

go down the road and pull the E-brake, if it wobbles still then check ur rear brakes.

if the pedal pulsates, check to make sure the pads are worn evenly when the wheel is off

Under heavy braking usually means it's a sticking brake piston...

it doesn't seem to be veering to one side of the other though, it just *really* likes following road irregularities...

pedal doesn't pulse
