TPS Shuts engine off when connected. Please help!!

I have been fighting with this thing for a while. I can start the car and it will idle just fine WITHOUT the TPS connected. It just won't rev too high with it disconnected. I have tried an extra TPS that I had around and it does the same thing. The voltages coming out of the plug seem to be in range. Could another component be bad in the sensor circuit that is causing this problem? I think that I have read about a bad omp doing this to things.

Any input?

AFM is definitley connected securely. TPS reading 1 volt at rest. In other words set properly. I was wondering if the OMP or the Metering Pump position sensor could have anything to do with it?
