TPS or bad grounds?

Exclamation TPS or bad grounds?

ok so now im down to 2 possibilities bad ground or bad TPS i check the fuel pump changed filter changed wires made sure they had a good connection changed oi oil filter i even checked engine service codes but had no codes..... new fuel filter ran a couple ottes of injector cleaner and i just need to know if anyone knows where the grounds are or how to go about servicing the TPS thank you guys!

It's a bit hard to offer advice without knowing what the problem is, or why you think it's caused by the TPS or grounds.

The TPS can't be serviced, but it can be adjusted. Search the 2nd Gen section for "TPS" to find the two billion threads on doing this. Click the following link for grounding info.

awesoem thanks guys the blinker fluid really works!! XD sry that made my day that was so funny! but yeah i love all data pulled up everything on the TPS it aint the grounds i checked em all so that leavs me with the TPS so thank you guys for all youre help!

How did you check the grounds? I hope not by just looking.

lol no i got under the hood and made sure all of the main ones were tightened and securely fastened my instructor at school told me to also do a fuel pressure test so im going to do that tonight too

You might want to check electrically too (resistances) and clean them with sandpaper. I think Aaron goes over contact cleaning in that article. Looks and feel can be deceptive when things are corroded!
